I was drawn to design from a very young age. I was inspired by the creativity, innovation, and beauty it involved. I was also interested in the possibility of using my creative work to transmit ideas to other human beings. After working as a graphic designer for some time, I found myself being interested in web design and front-end development. I was fascinated and impressed with the power that this new technology had to share information, create connections and empower users. I decided to go back to school to study Social Communication. This time, I was lured in by the effectiveness of strategic communications and attracted to the potential that web-based technologies have to revolutionize the way we see the world and connect with each other.
My communication studies have helped me develop into an effective Digital Communications Specialist. I integrate my creative background, technical skills and communication knowledge to create web communications pieces that are beautiful, functional and purposeful.

International ASET is a company the organizes multiple academic events. The congress website was designed to explain the nature of the event and to share relevant information with participants. The website was also designed as a template to be used for other events that share a similar information structure.
Core Digital Communications is a company that offers communication consulting services. A logo identity was designed to visually transmit the company’s core values: connection, innovation & competence.
Mediprint Biomedical 3D Printing is a company that uses medical images to create 3D physical models. A promotional brochure was created to briefly explain the services offered by the company and the process involved when placing an order.
Naturally Delicious is a web-based organization that provides their users with access to food recipes featuring natural and healthy ingredients. The logo design represents the core values of the organization: health, nature and beauty.
Where2Submit is a free index and search service for academic publications and events. The website was designed to allow users to search for events, letting them refine the search based a large number of parameters. Users are also able to post their own events and publications.
Ottawa123 is an organization that advocates for electoral reform in Ottawa. An infographic was created in order to explain the nature of the electoral system they support. The graphic simplifies the complex process and provides users with an easy and convenient way of consuming the information.

Maddison Construction Limited is a multi-faceted general contractor and project management company operating in Ottawa. The website created reflects their high level of professionalism and experience. It also gives the company a way of showcasing the work they do and the specialty projects they are well known for.
Oasis Landscape & Design is a company that offers landscape and design services to the residents of Ottawa. A promotional door hanger was designed to introduce the company to new neighborhoods, explain the services offered, and persuade new possible clients to contact the company.
